Naomi Kinnear King A.K.A NOM studied Fine Art Print at Norwich School of Art and Design, then moved to Brighton, then Melbourne and now London, exhibiting along the way as well as making commisioned illustrations. Her art has always been focused on creating female characters, the world arround them and the narrative this creates.
Her characters created in pencil, acrylic and oil, live within a mixing pot of magical fascinations of the imagination. Stories that lie behind the work are acted out by willing friends, collaged with collected imagery, painted then created in to books of each series. Other areas of artwork have been record covers posters, t-shirt design, and magazine illustration.
