Since having children Jesse has created a large number of drawings, documenting the life of his family. The drawings reflect the fleeting and spontaneous nature of figures interacting and focus on the gestures that reveal an individual's character. From these drawings he has been looking for images that convey the raw nature of a young person encountering their environment and the subtle states of being experienced. Through the underlying depth of feeling he has for this subject he hopes to express the complex and symbiotic relationships of parenthood.
